Idea #2: Build to Sell
Want to create a product people love? Start with a solid audience and scale it up. The idea is simple—build a brand that sells itself.
How to Get Started
1. Prioritize the platforms you are most familiar with to gather followers. Use Instagram, YouTube, or LinkedIn to grow a community.
2. Regularly interact with your audience to earn their loyalty; be patient, as it takes time to build trust.
3. Create something that no one asks for but everyone wants. It can be tech-related or any product, like sound-free basketballs sold by the basketball creators at In The Lab.
4. Build a brand that can make a significant impact by bringing ideas you want to see in the market. Develop a strategy and then work on it.
5. Motivate your existing customers to bring in new ones by offering incentives. Keep the incentives reasonable and within your budget. For example, the basketball creators gave $10 to college ambassadors for each ball they sold.
6. Share your product and progress on social media platforms you know well, aiming to make it go viral. You can use TikTok, Twitter, or any other platform that works for you.
Success Metric: In-The-Lab basketball generated 7-figure revenue through this exact model.

Idea #3: Ask, Build, and Earn (With AI)
AI tools are revolutionizing businesses. With the right approach, you can build a product, gather feedback, and scale it quickly.
AI tools will add $15.7T to the global economy by 2030. Here's your playbook:
Step #1: Build a Community and Ask Them
Once you have enough followers or subscribers (minimum 1,000 engaged followers), ask them about the tool or product you want to offer.
You can use Google Forms or email surveys for this.
For example, Ruben Hassi reached over 78 million people in a year and asked his community:
Question: Would you like to create LinkedIn posts using AI?
Response: He received over 800 answers, and more than 500 people were ready to test his product.
Step #2: Choose a Name for Your Company
Use tools like ChatGPT to help you brainstorm a name for your company.
Ruben used the Tree of Thought technique, which simulates a conversation between experts. He eventually chose the name EasyGen for his company.
Pro Tip: Keep the process public and invite suggestions from your community. This will help you build trust and engage future customers.
Step #3: Create a Logo with AI
AI can make designing a logo easier and faster.
For instance, Ruben used Midjourney AI and ChatGPT to design EasyGen’s logo. He finalized a pink and grey theme inspired by Gumroad.
He narrowed it down to four logo designs and let his community vote for their favorite.
Pro Tip: Keep the process public to increase engagement and build stronger connections with your audience.
Step #4: Use AI to Check Pricing
AI can suggest pricing strategies or payment plans for your product. Choose the one that fits your business and target audience.
Ruben considered three pricing plans suggested by AI and decided on a $2/day LinkedIn ghostwriter service.
Here’s how AI can help:
Organize and clean data.
Suggest multiple pricing strategies.
Act as a virtual data analyst.
Step #5: Create a WhatsApp Group for Beta Testers
Creating WhatsApp groups is a smart way to stay connected with your users.
Ruben created three WhatsApp groups with 995 members where people tested the beta version for free and shared feedback.
Bonus: He still has direct access to all the members, which is great for future updates or announcements.
Why WhatsApp? It has a 98% open rate, meaning most of your messages will be seen by your users—even if it’s just a quick update or a new post.
Real Example: EasyGen's LinkedIn tool acquired 500+ beta users in 72 hours using this framework.
