At that moment, an Amazon delivery boy arrived with a book Aditi had ordered. The spark hit: “Why can’t fuel be delivered just as easily as this?”
Fast-forward to 2017: Repos Energy was born, combining technology with convenience to bring doorstep fuel delivery to life.

💡 The Solution
Repos Energy delivers diesel to construction sites, hospitals, housing societies, and more through its IoT-enabled mobile fuel stations. Customers simply place orders on the Repos app, available on Android and iOS.
But they’re not stopping at diesel—plans are underway to add CNG, LPG, and even electric energy solutions to their portfolio.

Repos Energy started modestly with a ₹50 lakh investment, a 1,000 sq. ft. office, and just Aditi and Chetan on the team. Today, they’ve scaled to 2 lakh sq. ft. across three facilities, employing 500 people, including 150 factory workers.
Their secret sauce? Partnerships with 700 fuel entrepreneurs who operate the mobile pumps, creating a decentralized but efficient distribution system.

At just 25 and 28, Aditi and Chetan faced their share of skepticism. They needed a mentor, and who better than Ratan Tata? After waiting 13 hours outside his residence, they finally got their meeting. Tata was impressed by their innovative idea and decided to mentor and fund the startup.

Since its launch, Repos has spread to 220 cities, deploying 1,500+ mobile fuel pumps. In FY 2021-22, the company generated ₹65 crore in revenue and aims to triple that to ₹185 crore this year. That’s 3x growth in a single year—a sign that India is embracing the convenience of doorstep fuel delivery.
Repos Energy isn’t just about profits; it’s about changing India’s energy landscape. They successfully ran 32 pilot projects in 2019, leading to government policies supporting doorstep fuel delivery.
