Why You Shouldn’t Quit, Even When It Feels Like Nothing Is Working
The advice? Straight from Santhosh Balasundaram’s incredible journey.
He started his YouTube channel with:
❌ No fancy equipment
❌ No professional team
❌ No big budget
What he did have:
✅ A simple idea
✅ Passion to create
✅ Commitment to show up every day
For months, nothing seemed to work:
👉 Low views
👉 Minimal engagement
👉 Doubts creeping in
Santhosh asked himself, “Is this even worth it?”
But instead of quitting, he shifted his mindset:
🔄 Stopped chasing views
🔄 Focused on solving real problems for his audience
🔄 Created content that was valuable, not just viral
The result? 🚀
In just six months:
✨ 7 million impressions
✨ 25k watch hours
✨ 20k subscribers
His Takeaways:
1️⃣ Consistency creates momentum.
2️⃣ Authenticity earns trust.
3️⃣ Helping your audience is the ultimate growth strategy.
My Takeaways for You:
Keep building, even when it feels slow.
Success doesn’t follow a timeline—patience is key.
Pause and reflect if needed, but don’t quit.
Pivot if necessary—sometimes, plans evolve.

🌳 A Haircut Under a Tree: A Life Lesson from Vineet Nayar
This morning, I came across a story shared by Vineet Nayar (Ex HCL CEO) that truly made me pause and reflect.
On his way to the office, Vineet noticed a man getting a haircut under a tree. The man looked completely at ease, soaking in the moment.
Meanwhile, Vineet was headed to a high-stakes meeting on strategic initiatives for 2025—big goals, big responsibilities. But as he sat through the meeting, his mind kept drifting back to that simple scene under the tree.

At one point, he couldn’t hold it in anymore and blurted out to his team, “I just saw someone getting a haircut under a tree.”
His team laughed, thinking it was a quirky, passing comment. But it wasn’t.
The thought lingered. Instead of brushing it aside, Vineet did something unexpected.
He left the office, drove back to the tree, and got a head massage from the same barber.
And what happened next was remarkable.
👉 He returned to work feeling lighter, sharper, and with a renewed sense of energy and purpose.
Here’s the Real Takeaway:
We glorify grinding, back-to-back meetings, and being “always on.”
But an unlived life drains your energy, creativity, and purpose.
The best ideas, the biggest breakthroughs?
They come from a mind that is alive, engaged, and free to experience life.
Work more if you want. Work less if you can. The number of hours doesn’t matter.
What does matter is making space for moments that make life worth living.
Today, he didn’t just get a head massage.
He reclaimed a moment of my life.
